Supporting Helping Hands Organization
Community support becomes meaningful when people come together to help others. With this spirit, Pratheeksha, along with Yogakshemasabha Trivandrum Youth Wing and the CSR Wing of DCSMAT Trivandrum Campus, organised a food kit distribution programme for the students and parents of Helping Hands Organization.
The initiative aimed to provide essential food items to families who needed additional support. At the same time, it created an opportunity for volunteers to spend time with the students and parents and take part in their activities.
A Creative Day for Students and Parents
Helping Hands Organization had organised a training programme for its students and parents. The programme offered participants an enjoyable and creative learning experience.
During the session, students and parents learned how to make simple handicrafts using paper and coconut shells. The activity encouraged creativity and allowed participants to explore their skills in a practical way.
The session also created a friendly environment where students, parents, and volunteers could interact with one another. Such activities can provide opportunities for learning while also creating moments of happiness and connection.
Volunteers Supporting the Initiative
Pratheeksha volunteers took the initiative to support the programme. They joined the students and parents during the activities and encouraged them throughout the session.
Volunteering is not only about providing material support. Spending time with people, listening to them, and participating in their activities can also make a difference.
The involvement of the volunteers helped make the programme more engaging. It also strengthened the connection between the organisation and the community it supports.
Food Kit Distribution
As part of the initiative, Pratheeksha, together with the Yogakshemasabha Trivandrum Youth Wing and the CSR Wing of DCSMAT Trivandrum Campus, distributed food kits to the students and parents of Helping Hands Organization.
The food kits provided essential items for the families. Such support can help reduce some of the everyday challenges faced by families and give them a sense of care and encouragement.
Moreover, the programme combined learning, creativity, volunteering, and community support. This made the initiative meaningful for everyone involved.
Working Together for a Good Cause
Community initiatives become stronger when different groups work together. The support from the Yogakshemasabha volunteers and the DCSMAT CSR team helped Pratheeksha carry out the activity successfully.
Pratheeksha sincerely thanks every volunteer from Yogakshemasabha and DCSMAT for joining hands for this meaningful cause. Their time, effort, and support added great value to the programme.
The Food Kit Distribution at Helping Hands Organization was a reminder that kindness can take many forms. A food kit can provide practical support, while a few hours spent together can bring encouragement and happiness. Through such collective efforts, communities can continue to support one another with care and dignity.
