With a focus on educational development and community outreach, Pratheeksha Charitable Trust supports students who need assistance. As part of this effort, Pratheeksha provides books and stationery materials to underprivileged children. The initiative takes place at the beginning of the academic year so that students can start their studies with the materials they need.
Student’s Kit Distribution at Vellanikkal
As part of its Akshara activities, Pratheeksha Charitable Trust joined hands with Srishti Innovative to distribute study materials to students of Vellanikkal Government LP School.
The initiative aimed to support children before the start of the new academic year. Each student received a useful study kit containing essential school materials. The kit included a school bag, notebooks, pencils, pens, a scale, an eraser, and other stationery items.
These materials may look simple, but they can make a meaningful difference to a child. Having the right learning materials can help students take part in classroom activities with greater confidence.
Collecting Study Materials from Technopark
The initiative began in April with a community collection drive. Collection boxes were officially placed at the entrance of Carnival in Technopark. Employees and companies were encouraged to contribute study materials for children who needed support.
The campaign brought together people who wanted to contribute to the educational needs of students. Every donated item added value to the initiative. As a result, the collected materials helped create study kits for distribution.
Supporting Students at the Beginning of the Academic Year
The study materials were distributed as part of the school’s Praveshanothsavam activities. The programme created an opportunity to welcome students into the new academic year with useful educational resources.
The school Headmistress Ms. Girija Kumari presided over the function. Mr. Rupesh, PTA President, also attended the programme. School Teacher and Activity Coordinator Mr. Hashim joined the event along with other teachers and parents.
Mr. Vishnu Prasad, representing Pratheeksha, also participated in the activity. The presence of teachers, parents, and representatives made the programme a meaningful community effort.
